Summer Spark 2025

Summer Spark is TheFinePrint’s seasonal flagship program designed to inspire, challenge, and amplify the voices of young researchers ages 14–18. Over the course of three weeks, participants received curated writing and STEM-based prompts tailored to stretch their imagination and deepen their perspectives.

Isabella Baldwin

This article, written by Isabella Tranchi Baldwin, explores the connection between daily exposure to classical music and improved sustained attention in infants. It analyzes various studies done by researchers utilizing EEG and ERP to measure brain activity in response to auditory and visual stimuli. The analysis unveils a promising link between listening to classical music and improved attention in infants. Isabella is currently a junior at Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, California.
